	Removing, Installing
Installation	Replace self-locking nuts and bolts
1	Unhook or unscrew suspension (105g, 105h) on center and rear muffler of exhaust system (105)	Lower exhaust system at rear muffler and support
2	Detach exhaust heat shield (105c) in tunnel area
3	Detach reinforcement brace (34)		*BA61.10-P-1002-01C
4.1	Detach retainer (127) for seat belt anchorage	If fitted	*BA91.40-P-1008-01A
5	Detach front propeller shaft (1a) from transmission	The flexible disk remains on the propeller shaft

6	Detach rear propeller shaft (2) from rear axle center assembly	The flexible disk remains on the propeller shaft

7	Loosen fitted sleeves of flexible disks		AR41.10-P-0050-09DA
	Drift punch for loosening fitted sleeves in the flexible disks		WF58.50-P-4110-01A
8	Unscrew bolts (7a) on propeller shaft intermediate bearing	Support propeller shaft Installation:< f > Only tighten bolts (7a) after attaching the flexible disks to the transmission and rear axle center assembly

9.1	Remove washers on the front and rear propeller shaft intermediate bearing	Models 210.610/617

10	Pull propeller shaft off spigot on transmission and rear axle and remove backwards	Installation:  Pack cavities in the two centering sleeves with multi-purpose grease	*BF41.10-P-1001-01A
11.1	Separate front and rear propeller shaft at slide connection if necessary	Only if necessary Installation:  Smear splined shaft profile with Molykote grease ↓
		Long-life greases (NLGI class 2)	BB00.40-P-0266-02A
		Assemble propeller shaft	AR41.10-P-0050-05DA
		Installation:  On model 210.010 with 4-speed automatic transmission 722.4 except with code 450 taxi version (up to 30.6.96) for logistical reasons only  a front propeller shaft with 90 mm hole circle dia.  (previously 80 mm) is available. Therefore the three-arm flange on the transmission should be replaced at the same time.	ra27147220440x
	Checking
12	Check flexible disks, vibration damper, centering sleeves and propeller shaft intermediate bearing for wear	Replace if necessary ↓
		Removing and installing propeller shaft intermediate bearing and replacing deep-groove ball bearing	AR41.10-P-0100DA
		Replace centering sleeve	AR41.10-P-0200A
13	Install in reverse order
