REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1 Connect quiescent current retention unit COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS *WH58.30-Z-1012-09A 
DANGER Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  from caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead acid batteries. No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-protective gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
2 Disconnect ground cable of battery   AR54.10-P-0003A
NOTES Notes on battery All models AH54.10-P-0001-01A
3 Remove side cover on left side of trunk    
4 Unscrew nut (3)    
5 Carefully remove holder (1) with control modules IMPORTANT Do not damage connection lines.
NOTES Do not kink or stretch D2B fiber optic cable.
 
6 Release connector on E-network compensator (A28/3) and disconnect    
7 Disconnect antenna cable on E-network compensator (A28/3)    
8 Loosen sheet metal screws (2)    
9 Remove E-network compensator (A28/3)    
10 Install in the reverse order
