Disabling System

Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect and shield negative battery cable. Locate and disconnect SRS Red connector. See SRS RED CONNECTOR LOCATION table. See Figure -5. System is now disabled.
