	Inspecting
1	Check gap (A) between hard top and windshield molding strip in area of lock pins, adjust if applicable	For dimension A see figure 1.
2	Check distance (B) from A-pillar rail to rail on side of hard top, if applicable adjust rail at hard top	For dimension B see figure 2.
3	Check transition for seals in area of separating joint between A-pillar and hard top.	The sealing lip on the A-pillar should extend approx. 1 mm over the seal on the hard top. When the window is closed the separating joint is covered by the lip. Correct seals, if applicable (figure 3, arrows).
4	Unlock hard top and shim cross member above windshield	Use suitable shim (approx. 300 mm thick).
5	Unscrew screw (1) from hard top
6	Shim rail (2)	Long wedge (figure 3)	Figure
N	Pull seal out at corner of hard top
8	Press sealant in between seal and hard top (figure 5, arrows)		*BR00.45-Z-1007-02A
9	Install seal and screw on rail
10	Lock hard top and remove sealant coming out	Use naphtha.
