Limit Switch (S84/4 - Top Up/Differential Operation): Adjustment

NOTE: During procedures the numbers in parentheses, within steps, correspond to numbers inside the illustration(s). The word arrow(s) in parentheses, within steps, is used to point out specific components or movement.

1. Move top to position (B), see Fig 1 with top switch or manual actuation. See SOFT TOP MANUAL ACTUATION  under OPERATION. Until screw (3), see Figure , can be adjusted with special tool (part No. 129 589 02 21 00). See Figure under SPECIAL TOOLS. Place tool (2) as shown. See Figure .
2. The top should switch over to differential operation (top moves more slowly), when the top frame has passed the highest point (approximately 500 mm in front of front locks).
3. Turn screw (3) to right: Top switches over to differential operation later.
4. Turn screw (3) to left: Top switches over to differential operation earlier.
