Removal & Installation

NOTE: During removal and installation procedures the numbers in parentheses, within steps, correspond to numbers inside the illustration(s). The word arrow(s) in parentheses, within steps, is used to point out specific components or movement.
  1. Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM INTERIOR PANEL  .
  2. Close window.
  3. Disconnect speaker plug connector.
  4. Remove speaker with bracket (6 screws).
  5. Remove air duct (4 screws).
  6. Disconnect plug connector (S21/8x and S21/9x). See Fig 1 .
  7. Carefully remove door foil in front and rear area.
  8. Open cable strap (1) and clips (2) for harness cable.
  9. Unclip cable duct with clip connection (3).
  10. Unclip limit switch (S21/8 and S21/9) from bottom of door.
  11. Remove limit switch together with cable.
  12. Install in reverse order. Replace door foil if damaged.
