Raising Soft Top
- Open doors or lower windows.
- Lower roll bar with roll bar switch. If the roll bar cannot be lowered, the soft top can be carefully guided over the roll bar.
- For safety reasons, remove key from ignition switch.
- Unlock soft top storage compartment lock, located on vehicle right side:
- Place open-end wrench on bolt between roll bar and storage compartment cover. Turn wrench towards rear of car (1). See Fig 1
.
- Open storage compartment cover and place in upright position (2). See Fig 2
.
- Pull soft top (3) out of compartment and place it in its vertical position. See Fig 2
.
- Pull soft top bow (4) out of compartment. See Fig 2
.
- Place soft top frame (5) onto windshield header. See Fig 3
.
- Place soft top bow (4) in its vertical position. See Fig 3
.
- Pivot sun visors to side. Remove left and right caps (6). See Fig 4
.
- Using Allen-head wrench, lock left and right of soft top frame (5) to windshield header. See Fig 5
. Turn wrench in 3 stages towards center of car:
- Left lock to first notch.
- Right lock to second notch.
- Left lock to second notch.
- Close storage compartment cover (2). Lock storage compartment lock on right side: Place open-end wrench on bolt between roll bar and storage compartment cover. Turn wrench towards front of car (7). See Fig 6
.
- Lower soft top bow (4). See Fig 6
. Take note, rear section of the soft top cannot be locked during manual operation. Soft top operation should be checked.
