	Removal  :
	General note	When there is a change to the control unit version, the replacement of the complete ADS wiring harness (51k) and individual components is necessary.
1	Detach ground line from the battery		AR54.10-P-0003A
	Risk of injury  to fingers being jammed or squeezed  when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
2	Open engine hood
3	Remove cover (1)
4	Loosen ADS suspension control unit (N51) from the bracket (H); to do this, unscrew bolts (51s) (center picture)
5	Disconnect ADS wiring harness (51k) from ADS suspension control unit (N51)	Open the coupling locking device (arrow) of connector and tilt over ADS suspension control unit (N51) so that the connector coupling can be pulled out of the rear support.
6	Remove ADS suspension control unit (N51)
7.1	Remove ADS level control oil level switch (S44)	Removal is necessary in the event of a change to the control unit version. The ADS level control oil level switch (S44) is replaced by the ADS level control oil level switch (S44) with the part number +A 011 542 05 17.
8.1	Remove ADS wiring harness (51k)	Removal is necessary in the event of a change to the control unit version. The ADS wiring harness (51k) is replaced by ADS wiring harness (51k) with the part number A 129 440 30 05t.	AR32.32-P-0505SL
9.1	Removing the ADS comfort/sport switch	Removal is necessary in the event of a change to the control unit version. The ADS comfort/sport switch is replaced by the ADS comfort/sport switch with the part number A 129 820 99 10.	AR32.32-P-0517SL
	Installation
10.1	Installing the ADS comfort/sport switch	In the event of a change to the control unit.	AR32.32-P-0517SL
11.1	Producing tapped hole M6 (B) in bracket (H)	In the event of a change to the control unit. A change to the fastening points is necessary due to a modification to the control unit housing (magnified section). Attach new ADS suspension control unit (N51) with the rear bolt (51s) fasten and mark tapped hole (B) Then remove ADS suspension control unit (N51) and drill core hole (5 mm dia).
12.1	Install ADS wiring harness (51k)	When replacing the ADS suspension control unit (N51).	AR32.32-P-0505SL
13	Insert ADS suspension control unit (N51) in bracket (H) and connect ADS wiring harness (51k)	Secure connector by latching the locking device (51v).
14	Attach ADS suspension control unit (N51) to bracket H with bolts (51s)
15	Connect ground cable to battery		AR54.10-P-0003A
16.1	Install ADS level control oil level switch (S44)	When replacing the ADS suspension control unit (N51).
17	Check and correct level control oil level		AP32.30-P-3211BA
18	Install cover (1)
19	Check and correct vehicle level at front and rear axle		AR40.20-P-0300D
20	Check and correct headlamp adjustment		AP82.10-P-8260A
21	Close engine hood
