Danger of explosion
through welding or soldering work on the enclosed air-conditioning system. Danger of poisoning
through inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Danger of injury
through skin and eye contact with liquid refrigerant |
Do not conduct any welding work on enclosed air-conditioning systems nor in their immediate environment. Smoking and naked flame are prohibited. Wear protective eyewear and gloves and work only in well-ventilated areas. Repair work may be carried out on the air-conditioning circuit only after the system has been purged. |

Generally, a new liquid tank (1) should be installed after the air-conditioning system malfunctions as a result of leakage, contamination or freezing, or after maintenance work or replacement of the refrigerant compressor. |
|
|
| 1 |
Discharge (recycling) the air-conditioning system, evacuate, fill it and then check it for leaks |
Feed the purged compressor fluid back into the refrigerant circuit when filling the air-conditioning system |
|

| 8 |
Switch on the air-conditioning system and let the engine idle for approximately 4 minutes |
Set temperature to "Lo" and the blower to max. |
|
| 9 |
Check the air-conditioning system function |
The air outlet temperature at the center nozzle must not drop below + 5°C, if necessary ↓ refer to the diagnosis manual to carry out a diagnosis check |
|
| 10 |
Check the air-conditioning circuit for signs of any leakages |
