ASR, ESP
The ASR and ESP hydraulic unit has been modified. It is now equipped with a lighter, more compact housing. This modification has no effect on the function or diagnosis of the system.
BAS with ESP (engine 112)
The brake assist (BAS) control module has been eliminated. The entire function of the BAS module is included in the ESP control module.
ESP (engine 112)
On the ESP system the ESP pre-charging pump and ESP charging piston unit have been eliminated. The BAS solenoid valve in the brake servo-unit is actuated to provide the initial pressure for the high pressure/return pump.
