Belt Tension
- Loosen tensioning bolt about 1/2turn. See Fig 1. Loosen tensioning device adjusting nut until minor slack can be felt in belt. Locate pointer that is directly behind tensioning bolt bracket.
- When viewed from front of engine, turn pointer to the left until pointer aligns with first graduation mark of scale on tensioning cylinder. Turn tensioning device adjusting nut until pointer is aligned with specified graduation mark. See BELT TENSIONING SPECIFICATIONS table.
