Pressure Holding Of Solenoid Valves

  1. Turn ignition on. Set rotary switch successively to positions 8 (left front wheel), 9 (right front wheel) and 10 (rear differential). Spin respective wheel. Press "P" push button on tester and press brake pedal.
  2. When brake pedal is depressed, respective wheel should continue to turn. If wheel stops from brake pressure, motor relay, return pump or solenoid valve is defective. Repair or replace malfunctioning component and/or wiring harness as necessary.
