Shock Absorber: Notes

When removing gas pressure shock absorbers while vehicle is raised and axle tension relieved, make sure that the piston rod is not rotating while loosening main strut nut. Rotating piston rod may cause it to become loose. This could result in the sudden (dangerous) extension of the piston rod.
