Parking Brake Linings: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire. Disconnect hydraulic line. Remove caliper and rotor. Turn rear axle flange until one threaded hole faces hold-down spring. Compress spring with Spring Installer Tool (040) and turn 90°.
- Remove all retainers and hold-down springs. Detach lower return spring, opposite adjuster. Pull brake shoes apart enough to remove over rear axle shaft flange. Detach upper return spring. Remove adjuster.
