Parking Brake Linings: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate all adjuster components and sliding surfaces of backing plate with silicone brake grease.
- Return adjuster to home position, and install on shoes with adjusting wheel facing 45° forward (diagonal swing axle) or 90° forward (diagonal swing axle with starting torque compensation).
- Attach hold-down springs, retainers and return springs. Install rotor and adjust parking brake.
