Disc Brake Caliper: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire. Open bleeder screw on caliper assembly and pump out fluid. Disconnect and plug brake lines at caliper assembly.
- Remove caliper attaching bolts. Remove caliper assembly from vehicle.
NOTE:
Calipers from different manufacturers may be installed on rear axle. However, the fixed calipers should have the same piston diameter.
