V8 Models

  1. Release cooling system pressure and disconnect battery. Disconnect capillary tube for temperature indicator from engine block and plug hole.
  2. Remove cover under instrument panel. Working from rear, press instrument cluster out of panel and pull it forward slightly. Disconnect multiple plug and oil pressure line, pull capillary tube of temperature indicator through firewall and remove instrument cluster completely. To install, reverse removal procedure.
