Tel Antenna Inspection

NOTE:
  • The integrity of the tel antenna cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the tel antenna, perform the following procedure.
  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Perform the DTC inspection for the telematics communication unit and verify if any DTCs related to the tel antenna is detected. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
    • If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to the [DIAGNOSTIC ASSIST FUNCTION [DTC TABLE [TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION UNIT (TYPE-B)]] in the appropriate service information )
