SLOW ENGAGING AFTER OPERATING SELECTOR LEVER FROM N TO D POSITION (NJ8A(X)-EC/NN8A(X)-EC/MM8A(X)-EC) DESCRIPTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE
| Description |
- Slow engagement when depressing the accelerator pedal just after operating the selector lever from N to D position with the ATF temperature at 60°C {140°F} or more.
- Malfunction symptom only occurs once when accelerating from a standstill.
- Engagement after operating the selector lever from N to R position is normal.
- Engagement when shifting gears while driving is normal.
- DTCs are not stored.
