DTC U0131-00: Can Communication: Communication Error To Electric Power Steering (EPS) Control Module (Can Bus No. 2)

System malfunction location	CAN communication: Communication error to electric power steering (EPS) control module (CAN bus No. 2)
Detection condition	The TCM cannot receive CAN signal from electric power steering (EPS) control module. Precondition Battery voltage is the standard or more.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Possible cause	Malfunction in CAN communication line between EPS control module and TCM NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) Control valve body malfunction (TCM malfunction) (Refer to [CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved: Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
