| Detection condition |
- The power supply voltage to the TCM is the standard or more.
Precondition
- Specified time has elapsed since the engine speed increased to a specified rotation or more or the power supply voltage to TCM is above the specfied or more.

| Fail-safe |
- Inhibit driving (neutral).
- Disables parking lock switching and release.
- Inhibits AAS.
|
| Possible cause |
- DTCs are stored in the following modules.
- Battery malfunction (Refer to [BATTERY INSPECTION
] in service information).
- Generator malfunction (Without Mazda M Hybrid boost) (Refer to [
GENERATOR INSPECTION]
in service information).
- Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between TCM and body ground (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION
.) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION
.)
- Control valve body malfunction (TCM malfunction) (Refer to [CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC
.)
- Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved:
- Drive the vehicle under the following conditions:
- Selector lever at D or R position
