- The TCM detects an ON/OFF solenoid valve No. 4 circuit malfunction.
Precondition
- Battery voltage is the standard or more.

| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits learning control.
- If there is a short to power supply, disables parking lock switching and release.
- If there is a short to power supply, inhibits AAS mode.
- If there is a short to power supply, inhibits switching from EV driving to engine-only driving (with Mazda M Hybrid Boost)

| Possible cause |
- Malfunction in the following control valve body component parts (Refer to [CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).
- ON/OFF solenoid valve No. 4 circuit (including connector/terminal) (open or short circuit)
- ON/OFF solenoid valve No. 4
- ON/OFF solenoid valve No. 2 circuit (including connector/terminal) (short to power supply)
- Shift solenoid No. 6 circuit (including connector/terminal) (short to power supply)

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC
.)
- Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved:
- Drive the vehicle. (Use all gears from 1st to 8th gear and R position)
