| Detection condition |
- The following conditions are met:
- There is no correlation between the turbine/input shaft speed signal and the engine speed signal.
- Turbine/input shaft speed signal is 0 rpm.
Precondition
- Driving in mode other than EV mode (not during shifting)
|
| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits learning control.
- Inhibits manual mode.
- Inhibits switching from engine-only driving to EV driving. (With Mazda M Hybrid boost)
- Inhibits i-stop control. (Without Mazda M Hybrid boost)
- Engage the C0 clutch. (Without Mazda M Hybrid boost)
- Inhibits AAS.
|
| Possible cause |
- DTC is stored in the TCM. (Sensor power supply No. 1 low voltage malfunction) (See P0642-00: ).
- Malfunction in the following control valve body component parts (Refer to [CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).
- Turbine/input shaft speed sensor
- Turbine/input shaft speed sensor signal circuit
- Turbine/input shaft speed sensor power supply circuit
- Malfunction in the following automatic transmission component parts (Refer to [AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).
- Turbine/input shaft speed sensor rotor
|
| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC
.)
- Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved:
