- The turbine/input shaft speed is 7, 700 rpm or more.
Precondition
- Vehicle is being driven (not during shifting)

- Inhibits learning control.
- Inhibits manual mode.
- Inhibits switching from engine-only driving to EV driving. (With Mazda M Hybrid boost)
- Inhibits i-stop control. (Without Mazda M Hybrid boost)
- Engage the C0 clutch. (Without Mazda M Hybrid boost)
- Inhibits AAS.

| Possible cause |
- DTC is stored in the TCM. (Sensor power supply No. 1 low voltage malfunction) (See P0642-00: ).
- Malfunction in the following control valve body component parts (Refer to [CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).
- Turbine/input shaft speed sensor
- Turbine/input shaft speed sensor signal circuit
- Turbine/input shaft speed sensor power supply circuit

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC
.)
- Perform the following procedure to ensure that the DTC has been resolved:
- Drive the vehicle under the following condition:
- Vehicle speed: 30 km/h {19 mph} or more
