DTC U0401-00: Error Signal Received From Pcm

U0401-00: (SGC2/DMCM (E-SKYACTIV PHEV)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Error signal received from PCM
Detection condition
  • The drive motor control module receives the error signal from the PCM.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the PCM. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (e-SKYACTIV PHEV)] .)
  2. PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
  3. Drive motor control module malfunction (Refer to [INVERTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Switch the main power ON (READY on).
