SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING (E-SKYACTIV PHEV) DESCRIPTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Troubleshooting item	Description
Amount of air blown from vents does not change (See AMOUNT OF AIR BLOWN FROM VENTS DOES NOT CHANGE [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Blower motor does not operate even if airflow volume control switch is operated (no airflow from vent). Blower motor operation does not change even if airflow volume control switch is operated (airflow volume from vent does not change).
Insufficient air (or no air) blown from vents (See INSUFFICIENT AIR (OR NO AIR) BLOWN FROM VENTS [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Insufficient airflow from vent or duct No airflow from vent or duct Airflow mode does not change.
Air intake mode does not change (See AIR INTAKE MODE DOES NOT CHANGE [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Air intake mode does not change when switching REC/FRESH mode. No change in wind noise when airflow volume is set to 3 or more even if REC/FRESH switch is operated.
No temperature control with climate control unit (See NO TEMPERATURE CONTROL WITH CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Temperature does not change when operating temperature control dial.
Windshield fogged (See WINDSHIELD FOGGED [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Electric compressor does not operate while airflow mode is in DEFROSTER or DEF/HEAT modes. Air intake mode does not change to FRESH while airflow mode is in DEFROSTER or DEF/HEAT modes.
Air from vents not cold enough (See AIR FROM VENTS NOT COLD ENOUGH [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Insufficient cooled-airflow even if airflow temperature setting is MAX COLD. Excessive time required to cool to set temperature
Switch operation does not respond (See SWITCH OPERATION DOES NOT RESPOND [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Specific switch operation of climate control unit does not respond.
Electric compressor does not operate even with MAX COLD setting (See ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR DOES NOT OPERATE EVEN WITH MAX COLD SETTING [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Electric compressor does not operate even if airflow temperature setting is MAX COLD.
Heating not functioning effectively (See HEATING NOT FUNCTIONING EFFECTIVELY [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Insufficient warmed-airflow even if airflow temperature setting is MAX HOT. It takes time for airflow to be warmed to set temperature.
Climate control timer does not operate (See CLIMATE CONTROL TIMER DOES NOT OPERATE [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Climate control timer start conditions are not met. Climate control system does not start up.
Remote climate control does not operate (See REMOTE CLIMATE CONTROL DOES NOT OPERATE [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	Remote climate control start conditions are not met. Climate control system does not start up.
A/C does not work sufficiently (See A/C DOES NOT WORK SUFFICIENTLY [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	The electric compressor does not operate even though the A/C switch is turned on.
A/C is always on or electric compressor runs continuously (See A/C IS ALWAYS ON OR ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR RUNS CONTINUOUSLY [e-SKYACTIV PHEV] ).	The electric compressor does not stop.
