NOTE:

• If the quick release connector O-ring is damaged or it has slipped, replace the pipe component part.
• A checker tab is assembled into a new fuel hose. Remove the checker tab after the quick release connector and fuel hose are completely connected.

1. Inspect the sealing surface of the fuel hose and fuel pipe for damage or deformation.
   • If there is any malfunction, replace it with a new part.
2. Apply a small amount of engine oil to the sealing surface of the fuel pipe.
3. Install a new retainer to the quick release connector.
4. Press the fuel hose into the fuel pipe parallel until a click sound is heard and connect.
5. Press and pull the quick release connector forward/back several times and verify that it is connected securely.
