Quick release connector (emission system) No. 2 connection note

NOTE:
- If the quick release connector O-ring is damaged or it has slipped, replace the pipe component part.
- A checker tab is assembled into a new evaporative hose. Remove the checker tab after the quick release connector and evaporative hose are completely connected.

- Inspect the evaporative hose and the sealing surface of the evaporative pipe for damage or deformation.
- If there is any malfunction, replace with a new part.
- Apply a small amount of engine oil to the sealing surface of the evaporative pipe.
- Install a new retainer to the quick release connector.
- Press the evaporative hose into the evaporative pipe parallel until a click sound is heard and connect.
- Press and pull the quick release connector forward/back several times and verify that it is connected securely.
