DTC U0320-00: Electric Power Steering (EPS) Control Module Error (PYUL)

U0320: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Electric power steering (EPS) control module error
Detection condition
  • The PCM receives a electric power steering (EPS) control module error signal via CAN communication.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the PCM. (other than U0320: 00) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (PYUL)] .)
  2. EPS control module malfunction (Refer to [STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
