U0304: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Selector lever error |
| Detection condition |
- Any one of the following conditions is met:
- The PCM receives an error signal from the selector lever via CAN communication.
- Selector lever internal malfunction

| Fail-safe |
- The vehicle may be stopped depending on the malfunction conditions. (Switches to N position before stopping vehicle)
- Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.

| Possible cause |
- DTCs are stored in the following modules. (CAN driver malfunction)
- Selector lever connector or terminal malfunction (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION

- PCM connector or terminal malfunction (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION

).
- PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
]
).

- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC

- Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION
