DTC U0103-00: Can Communication System: Communication Error To Selector Lever (PYUL)

U0103: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	CAN communication system: Communication error to selector lever
Detection condition	The PCM cannot receive CAN signal from selector lever.
Fail-safe	The vehicle may be stopped depending on the malfunction conditions. (Switches to N position before stopping vehicle) Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
Possible cause	Malfunction in CAN communication line between selector lever and PCM NOTE: Perform the malfunction diagnosis according to the troubleshooting procedure for the multiplex communication system. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .)
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
