If fuel pump does not operate (with less than 1/4 of fuel remaining)

NOTE:

Perform the [Fuel Line Safety Procedure] referring to [BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION]. (See BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION [PYUL] ).
Perform the procedure with the negative lead-acid battery terminal disconnected. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)

Remove the rear seat cushion. (See THIRD-ROW SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the fuel pump unit. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] ).
Siphon the fuel in the fuel tank.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Perform Fuel Leakage Inspection Referring to [AFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION]. (See AFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION [PYUL] ).
