Electric variable valve timing driver control inspection

- Perform the KOER self-test. If the following DTCs are detected, repair the applicable malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to [DTC INSPECTION
] in the appropriate troubleshooting information)
- P0010:00, P0011:00, P0012:00, P1380:00
- Access the ECM PIDs [VLV_TIMING_ACT_IN] and [VLV_TIMING_DSD_IN] using the M-MDS data monitor function.WARNING:
- Heed the following to ensure safety while driving the vehicle.
- To prevent an accident, work with another person (one person drives vehicle, other person operates M-MDS).
- Comply with the legal speed limits and perform the procedure in a safe place.
- Heed the following to ensure safety while driving the vehicle.
- Drive the vehicle (accelerate/decelerate and drive at constant speed), and verify that the PID [VLV_TIMING_ACT_IN] value changes in conjunction with the PID [VLV_TIMING_DSD_IN] value.
- If the change cannot be verified, replace the electric variable valve timing motor/driver. (See ELECTRIC VARIABLE VALVE TIMING MOTOR/DRIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] )
