Perform Fuel Siphoning

CAUTION:
- Operating the fuel pump when there is no fuel in the fuel tank may cause a fuel pump malfunction. Verify the amount of fuel discharged from the hose continuously during fuel siphoning, and stop the fuel pump if the discharge amount becomes unstable.
- Remove the fuel pump relay as shown in the figure.COMPONENT OPERATIONS
Component No Refer to 1 Fuel pump relay CAUTION:- Shorting the wrong terminal in the relay and fuse block may cause malfunctions. Always short only the specified terminal.
- Short fuel pump relay terminal C and terminal D in the relay and fuse block using a jumper wire.
- Connect the negative lead-acid battery terminal and operate the fuel pump.
- If the fuel pump does not operate, perform the [Fuel Siphoning Procedure Not Using Fuel Pump].
- Remove the jumper wire and stop the fuel pump.
