Rivet removal note

- Remove the rivets using the following procedure.
- Secure the rivet pin by clamping it using needle-nose pliers.
- Set the following diameter drill bit to the drill.
Drill bit diameter
4.1 mm {0.16 in}
CAUTION:- If an inappropriate diameter drill bit is used, the rear bumper fascia may be damaged. When removing the rivets, always use a drill bit of the specified diameter.
- Gouge off the rivet flange using a drill and remove the rivet.SYMBOL AND CONTENT DESCRIPTION
Symbol Content Flange area 4.1 mm {0.16 in} - Remove any rivet shavings from the rear bumper fascia.
- Secure the rivet pin by clamping it using needle-nose pliers.
