Resistance inspection

WARNING:
- A hot engine can cause severe burns. Turn off the engine and wait until it is cool before performing the servicing.
NOTE:
- Perform the procedure with the coolant temperature sensor removed. (See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] ).
- Place the detection part of the coolant temperature sensor in water and while gradually increasing the water temperature, measure the resistance between coolant temperature sensor terminals A-B.
- If not within the standard, replace the coolant temperature sensor. (See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] ).
