Driver's side windshield wiper arm and blade installation note

Use a wire brush to clean the serrated connecting part.

If the serrated connecting part is damaged, replace the windshield wiper motor and link.

Align the driver's side windshield wiper blade end with the hollowed mark in the ceramic coating and install.

If the hollowed mark in the ceramic coating cannot be located, adjust the driver's side windshield wiper blade end to the range shown in the figure below and install.

Install the nut.
Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
Operate the windshield wipers at low speed.
Turn the windshield wiper switch OFF.
Verify that the driver's side windshield wiper is stopped at the park position by the auto-stop function.
- If the driver's side windshield wiper is not installed to the park position, change the driver's side windshield wiper arm and serrated connecting part one groove at a time and adjust it to the park position.
