Function Explanation (DTC Detection Outline)

- If the engine oil temperature detected by the engine oil temperature sensor does not increase to the standard or more within the specified period of time after the engine is started, the PCM determines that the engine oil temperature sensor is malfunctioning and stores a DTC.
