P0196-00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Engine oil temperature sensor system: Function malfunction
Detection condition	Determination conditions	The engine oil temperature detected by the engine oil temperature sensor does not increase to the standard or more within the specified period of time after the engine is started.
	Preconditions	Before starting the engine, leave the vehicle with the engine turned off for 6 hours or more. The following DTCs are not detected: Engine oil temperature sensor: P0197-00 and P0198-00

Fail-safe	Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
