| 3 | DETERMINE IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL OR OTHER

| 4 | VERIFY AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR MALFUNCTION

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to [AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] ). |

| 5 | INSPECT WIRING HARNESS (INCLUDING CONNECTOR/TERMINAL) BETWEEN PCM AND AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR MALFUNCTION

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. | ||
| 6 | DETERMINE IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS PASSENGER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL OR OTHER

Yes | Go to Step 9. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 7 | VERIFY PASSENGER COMPARTMENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR MALFUNCTION

| 10 | INSPECT WIRING HARNESS (INCLUDING CONNECTOR/TERMINAL) BETWEEN BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) AND HUMIDITY SENSOR/SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR/AUTO LIGHT SENSOR/RAIN SENSOR FOR MALFUNCTION

Yes | Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .)

| 11 | VERIFY DRIVER-SIDE AIR MIX ACTUATOR FOR MALFUNCTION

Yes | Inspect the air mix door and linkage for sticking. (Refer to [A/C UNIT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY ] ). If there is no malfunction:
