P2229: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The specified period of time has elapsed while the BARO sensor voltage is high.

| Fail-safe |
- Fixes the barometric pressure for the engine control at 101.32 kPa {1.0332 kgf/cm2, 14.695 psi}.
- Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.

| Possible cause |
- BARO sensor (built-into PCM) malfunction (Refer to [BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (BARO) SENSOR INSPECTION
] in service information).
- PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC

- Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
