P2119: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Throttle body system: Mechanical malfunction |
| Detection condition |
- When the main power is switched OFF, the difference between the actual throttle position and the initial throttle position setting is the specification or more.

| Fail-safe |
- Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.
- Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.

| Possible cause |
- Throttle body connector or terminal malfunction (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION
.)
- PCM connector or terminal malfunction (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION
.)
- Drive-by-wire control malfunction (See ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM OPERATION INSPECTION [PYUL]
.)
- Throttle body (return spring) malfunction (Refer to [THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION
] in service information).
- PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).

| Repeatability verification procedure |
- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC
.)
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off) and wait for 1 min or more.
- Switch the ignition off.
- Perform the KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
