DTC P2112-00: Throttle Valve Actuator Control Motor Current System: Characteristic Malfunction

P2112: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Throttle valve actuator control motor current system: Characteristic malfunction
Detection condition	The throttle valve actuator control duty ratio is the specification or more. Precondition  Ignition switched ON (engine on)
Fail-safe	Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed. Fixes the throttle valve opening angle. Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
Possible cause	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between throttle body and PCM (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Throttle valve actuator malfunction (Refer to [THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION ] in service information). Throttle body malfunction (throttle valve malfunction) (Refer to [THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION ] in service information). PCM malfunction Throttle valve actuator control driver error (built-into PCM) (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
