DTC P2101-00: Throttle Valve Actuator Control Motor System: Circuit Malfunction

P2101: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Throttle valve actuator control motor system: Circuit malfunction
Detection condition	The throttle valve actuator supply voltage is the standard or less even though the main relay is on. There is a system error in the electrical throttle control system of the PCM.
Fail-safe	Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed. Fixes the throttle valve opening angle. Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
Possible cause	Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between battery and main relay (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between main relay and PCM (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) Throttle valve actuator malfunction (Refer to [THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION ] in service information). PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .) Perform the KOEO self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
