P18A4: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- A condition in which the difference between the target current of the AWD solenoid control current and the actual current is the specification or more continues.

| Fail-safe |
- Inhibits the i-ACTIV AWD system control.
|
| Possible cause |
- Differential oil temperature is higher than the standard.
NOTE:
- Switch the ignition off and allow vehicle to cool down.
- i-ACTIV AWD system-related parts connector or terminal malfunction (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION
.)
- Electronic control coupling
- Electrical supply unit (ESU)
- AWD solenoid malfunction (Refer to [MAGNETIC CLUTCH INSPECTION
] in service information).
- Electrical supply unit (ESU) related DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). (See DTC TABLE [BCM]
.)
- Electrical supply unit (ESU) malfunction (Refer to [ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT (ESU) INSPECTION
] in service information).
- PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
] in service information).

- Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC
.)
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
