Determination conditions |
- Any one of the following conditions is met:
- When the engine should restart after it is stopped by the i-stop control, it is detected that cranking has been continuously performed for a predetermined period of time and has failed once.
- Engine does not crank when the engine is stopped and started by the i-stop control.

- Intake air system malfunction
- Air suction
- Vacuum hose, evaporative hose, ventilation hose breakage
- Purge control malfunction
- Generator drive belt shear, deviation, or wear
- Engine starting system malfunction
- Engine mechanical malfunction
- Improper intake valve timing
- Electric variable valve timing system malfunction
