DTC P061B-00: Pcm Processor Error

P061B: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location PCM processor error
Detection condition
  • PCM internal malfunction
  • There is a malfunction in the sensor input signal to the PCM.
  • There is a malfunction between the PCM and the sensor that inputs a signal to the PCM.
Fail-safe
  • Engine output is restricted.
  • Fixes the throttle valve opening angle.
  • Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the PCM. (Error in signal input to PCM by sensor) (See DTC TABLE [PCM (PYUL)] .)
  2. PCM connector or terminal malfunction (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  3. PCM malfunction (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
