DTC P0604-00: Pcm Ram Error

P0604: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location PCM RAM error
Detection condition
  • PCM internal RAM malfunction.
Fail-safe
  • Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.
  • Fixes the throttle valve opening angle.
  • Inhibits engine-stop by i-stop control.
Possible cause
  1. PCM connector or terminal malfunction (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  2. PCM malfunction (PCM internal RAM malfunction) (Refer to [PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information).
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Perform the KOEO or KOER self test. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
