Function Inspection Using M-MDS

P057F: 00 (PCM (PYUL)) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	PURPOSE: RECORD VEHICLE STATUS WHEN DTC WAS DETECTED TO UTILIZE WITH REPEATABILITY VERIFICATION Record the freeze frame data/snapshot data. NOTE: Recording can be facilitated using the screen capture function of the PC.	-	Go to the next step.
2	PURPOSE: VERIFY IF BATTERY CURRENT IS FALSELY RECOGNIZED BY DTC RELATED CURRENT SENSOR Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any of the following DTCs displayed? P058A: 00	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See P058A-00: (PYUL) ). Go to the next step.
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	PURPOSE: VERIFY IF CURRENT SENSOR IS FALSELY RECOGNIZED BY DTC RELATED CAN OR LIN COMMUNICATION Perform the DTC inspection for the PCM. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [PCM (PYUL)] .) Go to the next step.
3		No	Go to the next step.
4	PURPOSE: VERIFY IF A MALFUNCTION OCCURRED DUE TO FAILURE OF PERFORMING THE BATTERY INITIAL SETTING Display the PCM PID [BATT_DAY] using the M-MDS. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION .) Has it only been a short while since the battery was replaced?	Yes	Verify the battery replacement record (servicing record or consultation with customer). If It Can Be Determined That The Battery Initial Setting Was Not Performed, Perform The Battery Initial Setting. (Refer to [BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information). Go to Troubleshooting Diagnostic Procedure to perform the repair completion verification 1.
4		No	Go to Troubleshooting Diagnostic Procedure to perform the procedure from Step 1.
