| 2 | PURPOSE: INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Add genuine engine oil and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to [ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT ] in service information). |

| 3 | PURPOSE: INSPECT OIL STRAINER
|
Yes | Replace the oil strainer and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to [OIL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information). |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 4 | PURPOSE: INSPECT WIRING HARNESS (INCLUDING CONNECTOR/TERMINAL) BETWEEN ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR AND PCM FOR MALFUNCTION

| No | Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. | ||
| 5 | PURPOSE: VERIFY ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR FOR MALFUNCTION

| 6 | PURPOSE: VERIFY ENGINE OIL SOLENOID VALVE FOR MALFUNCTION

Yes | Replace the oil pump and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to [OIL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information). |
| No | Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to [ENGINE OIL SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ] in service information). |

| Repair completion verification 1 | PURPOSE: VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
|
Yes | Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
